This beauty started out as just a case two months ago. Thanks to MyBulova I was able to identify the parts needed to build her out. The only part I found confusing is one source says no movement ring and the case parts catalog shows MR768. Which I have not been able to find.
I guess that means I have two new projects. Find a movement for a case and a case for a movement. The later of the two I am sure is going to be harder to do.
One thing is for sure, Bulova knew what it was doing when it paired this case with a white dial. It looks much better in person when you can clearly see the patina. I tried to capture it here in it's current set up until I find a better bracelet.

I think you are fine with the 11BLACD. I have had the same watch, same case 706, dated M8 with the 11BL.. movement. It was around this time in 1968 that the movements were revised from 11AL to 11BL, so either should be fine.
