10K gold filled case, s/n J091701. Band probably not original. Inside case back reads: Bulova, Fifth Ave, New York. Powered by a manual wind, 21 jewel, manufactured in 1949 in the USA Bulova Watch Co. 6BA movement. Just serviced and running well for a movement this age. I have tentatively identified it as a 1947 Her Excellency "N".

This watch should clean up nicely. As it is running dial down, hopefully it won't need a whole lot to bring it back. If I don't find any interested parties here, I'll probably put it up on eBay. appreciate it instead of it sitting in a drawer at home. The self winding mechanism works and the watch keeps time for a while then goes slow - maybe because it's not been worn
for quite a while.
