Stainless steel and 10kt rolled gold case. Champagne dial. No numbers on dial, only 'marks'. Calendar window. Winder cap is missing - used to have a blue domed finish. Winder still there and usable. Case no H498480. Waterproof. Self winding.
Used to be my grandfather's watch and passed to me when he died, as I was always fascinated by the self-winding mechanism when I was little! He lived and worked in New York for a few years so assume he purchased it then.
Don't have movement info as don't want to try and open the case in case it gets damaged.
Based in Scotland so will have to take account of postage if sold to someone in the States. Happy to receive a reasonable offer. Would just like it to go to someone who will
appreciate it instead of it sitting in a drawer at home. The self winding mechanism works and the watch keeps time for a while then goes slow - maybe because it's not been worn
for quite a while.
