1974 Bulova 31010-2W Chronograph wearing it's original Bulova marked stainless steel bracelet with black corfam inserts. This is, without a doubt, my 'holy grail' watch (and a first for the myBulova database). The 14EHAD Chronomatic is a Hamilton-Buren, Breitling, Heuer jointly developed micro rotor chronograph. It was a technical breakthrough at the time and is still widely used today. This watch was not made by Bulova but sourced and BRANDED by them. Close inspection of the inside case back reveals the brand name Heuer-Leonidas has been struck through with the Bulova name and case number struck above it. The Heuer-Leonidas case serial number 278817 as well as the model number 1163 V are stamped into the case between the lugs. (Jack Heuer purchased Leonidas in 1964, in 1985 the company became TAG Heuer.)
