Watch Description

I believe this is a Goddess of Time X (white gold) from 1959 based on the case date code and a 1958 style on this site. The 1958 version is almost exactly the same as mine, but the watch face is slightly different; mine has no "Bulova" or "Swiss" words on the face.

I believe this is a Goddess of Time X (white gold) from 1959 based on the case date code and a 1958 style on this site. While I've owned it (about 40 years) I've never replaced the battery or worn it. I inherited it from my great-grandmother after she passed away in the '80s. I will accept offers.

Ladies watch with a small, discolored face behind scratched crystal
Back of the case showing the date code L9 and a serial number
Side of the watch case showing "Bulova" on the winder
Whole watch with a replaced band

Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your great grandmother's watch with us.  I agree based on this watch https://mybulova.com/watches/1958-goddess-time-x-14403 that it is the Goddess of Time "X" and not the Dolly Madison based on the step on the side of the case.

Thank you for the reply! It's wonderful to see the catalog image. I wish my relative had kept that lovely band!

Was the white gold version really nearly 3x the cost of the yellow? My goodness.

1959 Bulova Goddess of Time "X" is a good match.   The Bulova has been wiped off at some point probably during a cleaning.
