Did you notice that non of the ads nor linebooks for the 68-70 Oceanographers have "Oceanographer" under "Bulova" that actual production models have. There are also other dial variances too on the bottom half of the dial: "Super Waterproof" vs 333 Feet vs just a blank spot:

Early models, around 1968, had the Super Waterproof, but I believe that was replaced with the depth as 333 feet once stating 'waterproof' became more regulated.
