What is the inside diameter of the retainer ring Gerard?

It must be missing the sweep hand so the crystal will have to have a high dome for clearance..

The inside diameter of the ring is 29.8mm. I have some round crystals but they only fit the body of the watch. It seems to tight for the ring,i don't want to break it.

Tentative on a Bulova 23....variant uknown.

From the 1961 price guide:

  • Bulova 23 'EW' (Black dial - White gold/Stainless steel case)
  • Bulova 23 'HW' (Black dial - White gold/Stainless steel case)
  • Bulova 23 'KW' (Black dial - White gold/Stainless steel case)
