New model name. Matches the ad perfectly, yellow gold, black luminus dial, hands, hour markers and right down to the outer minute markers seen in the photo. Even the strap looks like a match also.

No takers on this one really? The ad seems to have this down for both technical and visual details.
Yellow Gold case.
Black dial
Luminous Dial
Position of hour markers and minute track is an exact match (the replacement domed crystal should have been low dome. It hides the minute track which would be more visible with a non domed one)
All three hands are an exact match.
Recessed crown visible on both
Bezel has a step like the photo
lugs look to be an exact match.
Even the pigskin strap is a match.
I seem to have purchased one of these last week. I had assumed that it was an example on a WW2 A-11 watch, re-cased immediately after the war. I primarily collect military watches and my intention was to put the watch back into a military case. I'm now not sure what to do!
Anyway, the data from my watch is as follows:
Movement: 10 AKCSH 16 jewel with working hackset feature and same military dial as shown in photos above. Case is a little too small for the dial, obscuring some of the outer markings. Triangle for 1945 and Case number 5412873, snapback stainless steel with Bulova stamped immediately below the case number. Same gold case with the inset crown as shown in photos above.
Original badly oxidised green colored crystal was with the watch and is the low dome crystal as mentioned in the comment above.
The watch has cleaned up very nicely, the case is in great condition, but it's very small at 28mm.
I'm now left not quite knowing what to do, seems a shame to change what seems to be an actual genuine model using the surplus military dials and movements left over from the war.
