The blue sunburst dial on this Sea King 'FD' really catches the eye. It has an iridescent quality and changes through different shades of blue as the watch is tilted in the light. The applied beveled hour markers also catch the light and almost twinkle when the light hits them. It is quite a striking looking watch and others must agree as it seems to command a small premium compared to others of this time period. It comes on its original bracelet with dark blue corfam inserts and in a stainless steel case (case number 2931, crystal 1243 at 30.1mm) with a 17 jewel 11ANACB movement.
Congratulations on a gorgeous watch. No doubt about this one. 1970 Bulova Sea King "FD". It is so rare to find in original condition with the extremely rare original bracelet. These never survive.

This one was a non-runner when I bought it. It just need a bit of TLC and a few new parts. I picked up the NOS bracelet about a year after I bought the watch.
Sweet! Nice snag, Guy.
