1953 Bulova Sea King "A" using the 1955 ad as reference.

I don't understand how the '55 ad can identify the Sea King "B" as being the same as the "A" except for having a white dial. But the Sea King "B" in this database doesn't look like a white dial version of the "A". Why is that?

We can see a model have with variants have different dials.  I think they just didn't go into much detail in the ad to say it was white and different marker layout.  We see the same thing with like the Her Excellency line.  It will show one model and say it comes in yellow, pink, and white but then does not say that the dials are actually different as well.  Just the nature of Bulova ads of the time.
