I got this watch when my grandpa passed away, it came only with the face part so the wrist band is not original. Getting it running again was no easy task, people I took it to kept poking it and shorting it out.

Well gent's here's what I have so far for my Trauma Unit Collection.
A Blackhawk, a Nurse's, and a Surgeon....
The not to subtle theme of my new collection is Bulova "doctor's" dial" type watches. My next hunt is for a black dial Surgeon to go with the two below.
The Bulova Surgeon aka Doctor's Dial watch. Thought to be marketed to members of the medical field. One of the first watches to have the large seconds hand.
Two dials out there black and white. This is of course the white.
Sports a 10BAC, 17 Jewel movement.
Fantastic Senator sporting an 8AH, 17 Jewel movement. Looks to have been very newly refurbished or kept in great condition.
Unusual flap on the bottom of the movment protecting lower half.
Ok guys, who can tell me what model this movement is from? One of my favorites. Please answer in a private message and I'll post them after, don't want anyone copying someones elses test paper.

This watch came with a black corded band; I replaced it with an expandible one. It has 2 very tiny diamonds on each end. WORKS....has a second hand and keeps great time. Not sure what else I need to add here. Nor do I know the value
looking for a crystal for my nice "Arnold"..searched catalogues to no avail.....HELP

I purchased a Bulova women's watch on e-bay and would like an ID.
Here are the specs:
Mechanical, wind up. 17 jewel movement. Looks like gold tone, N7 marked on SS back, "water resistant" .
N-179 on inside back, 1001 11 and "unadjusted" stamped on movement.
Its in excellent condition, some scratches on back and a bit of wear around the wrist band holder. The lens is clear. The matching gold expandable wristband is marked "Spiedel".
Also, it runs fast.
Let's chat about the 'SENATOR' shall We, specifically the Years 1940 - 1949.
The only ad showing the Bulova 'SENATOR' I personally am familiar with shows a Tonnau shape step lugged Case with Gilt (Gold) Arabic Numerals on a White Dial and a 17J movement.
Let's hash this out Boys as now is as good a time as any.

I have this model Bulova academy award wristwatch for 61 years. It was a graduation gift to me in 1950, my parents paid around $70. A lot of money back then, but after 61 years and a couple of cleanings it still runs. A nice wristwatch!
