Ok y'all, I have questions.  It appears to me that the ads for these 2 watches are really similar. To quote Mugatu: "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!". None of the ads mentioned (there are a couple more Trained Nurse ones in the DB) list what color the sweep second hand was.

Just wondering about a movement I’ve happened on. It’s a 15j 10AKCSH. I know it’s supposed to be 16j but this thing is definitely stamped 15j. It is identical to the normal movement you might expect to see in a A11 and is even date stamped “X” for ‘43. There is nothing different in the hacking mechanism or setup. Anybody got any ideas on this one? Miss stamp? 15 just somehow ended up there? I’m just hoping there’s an explanation that doesn’t make me look like an idiot for asking.

Currently own one bulova, a 1960’s accutron passed on from my grandfather that I’ve had restored and absolutely love it. Am getting the itch for another vintage Bulova. Am interested in this posting on Chrono24 and was wondering if anyone can opine on the movement, general maintenance and ownership and condition of this particular watch. Thank you in advance 

I'm in the process of reviving my fathers A9 with 10BC inside and I need a new crystal. There is no case number inside. I searched the G-S catalog but couldn't find anything close. According to Bulova styles it's a Tonneau and the closest I can find is CMY or CMT. It measures 17mm across the top and bottom and is 20.5mm long with curved sides. Any help to locate one or where to look is appreciated.

I have a 1959 Bulova 23 that looks like it has a weird movement. Wanting to know if it's a quirk of this movement or something possibly needing repair. First the sweep movement isn't perfectly smooth. Looks like there is maybe 5 to 6 distinct movements per second. If that's how the Bulova 23 sweep works, that's great. The thing I think is odd and maybe wrong is that the second hand jumps those 5-6 movements one second before the minute hand on every rotation, no matter where the minute hand is. It keeps good time and the second hand makes a clean 60 second revolution each time around.

If you had to choose just one watch to wear for the rest of your days and it had to be a Bulova, what would it be?

Think selling your entire collection and just wearing the 'one' Bulova watch.
