Watch Description

10k rolled gold plate bezel,  stainless steel back New York,  # on back 8235690, inside case #'s 0227G12-53, 0966G9-54, 15 jewel, band is a Flex-Let 2-56 USA. Its been in a watch box since 1965 +-.  The gold box is from Lloyds Watches New York with all the advertising for the watch but Im pretty sure the box and watch are NOT a match, as the sticker in the box says 17 jewel and the Bulova is 15 jewel. It belonged to my step-grandfather. It currently is not working, so this morning I took it to my watch repair guy and he said there is nothing broken, it just needed a good clean (at $145), so I will let a future owner take care of that. I would like to know the year and model. This form would not let me submit without a "manufacture year" so I guessed at 1953 going by the numbers on the inside of the case.
