Hi all I believe this is a 1949 Andrew. the movement is a 10BC 15 j marked with the year 48. The case is marked on the inside with the following. Bulova. 10K gold plated bezel. St/Steel back. New York. On the outside the case is stamped Bulova with the serial number 9212855. I had the dial refinished by International I think they made a great job of it.
That is a nice one Donegd. I wish International would do that kind of work for me. I've got a question for the panel. I see other examples of the "Andrew" on here. Two have dials like the one Donegd has and one has a dial with numbers and hash marks. I haven't found an ad for the "Andrew" with either of these dials.
So how do we know these dials are correct for the "Andrew"?

At this stage as far as I'm aware this case design has only been seen listed as the Andrew with no other similar models. Based on the case alone and Bulova's history of offering various dial styles to customize a watch, the Andrew is the best candidate at this stage.
This is the copy of the pic I sent up to I.D. which was exactly the same as the original one except it was very faint and marked this pic ws taken off Lisa's site but there are two wit his dial on the db and one similar with marker and numerals on the dial.
One main difference with the dials on the db and the pics inthe adverts is the second are not resessed whereas all the watches in db are
