Great looker... very shiney! Although it looks smaller from the pictures it's actually a rather large watch, measuring 32mm across. Missing hands but runs fine.  Seems pretty well taken care of.

In the early 1970's famed Fashion Designer Christian Dior was commissioned by Bulova to design a line of Watches. This is one of the Ladies versions designed by the House of Dior for the Bulova Dior Boutique Collection.

This watch was passed down from my father who purchased it when he lived in Alaska in the 70's.  It's case is surrounded by gold nuggets, either end has gold rams with ruby eyes.  Needless to say, it turns heads!

White Dial shows raised Gilt Arabic numerals and Bulova logo. Hour and Minute Hands are Modern Style and a Modern Style Seconds Hand appears on a Sub Dial completely obscuring the 6 numeral.

Caseback is Stainless Steel.

Case measures 38mm lug to lug x 21mm non inclusive of the Crown using Calipers. White Dial shows applied Gilt Arabic numerals and Bulova signature, tracks are printed in Black. Hour and Minute Hands are Gilt Modern style and a Gilt Modern Seconds Hand shows on a Sub Dial fully obscuring the 6. Caseback is Stainless Steel and stamped as shown. Black Leather single keeper Strap is N.O.S. signed JB Champion.

This watch is a miniture version of the Bulova Surgeon.  As it's a woman's style watch, it has always been known as a Nurse's Watch.  Recently an ad was found naming this the American Nurse.  That works out well!

This particular watch has been double stamped with the Omega -1940 and Astrick -1941 which has been handstamped over.

It sports a 17 Jewel, 7AM movement and the case while worn in a couple spots shows excellently.

Look at all the wonderful watchmakers marks in that case.  It must have been well taken care of in it's 70 years of existance.   This watch sets and runs well.
