The watch in the ad looks like it has straighter sides and a significantly wider lug spacing than your watch.
UPDATE: This comment was made when the ID'd name and corresponding ad were the Montgomery. This comment is not applicable to the current Lone Eagle "A" ID for this watch.
Yes, it sort of does doesn't it? - I'm thinking this is an artist rendition issue on this one.
Watch is 17Jewels whereas the 'AMBASSADOR's are advertised 21 Jewels.
Looked more like the "Ambassador A " to me, but on closer inspection I see an engraved line around the end of the lugs. The lines are quite evident in the ad shown and they are not present on the Ambassador
To be clear, my comment above was made when Fifth had this watch ID'd as a Montgomery, and the corresponding ad was of the Montgomery. He has since changed the ID to the Lone Eagle "A" based on discussions of other identical watches--including comparing dimensions of this watch to Ambassadors (not a match)--and upon discovery of the appropriately sized crystal labeled "Lone Eagle". I agree that the watch is the one depicted in the ad labeled "Lone Eagle 'A'".
'AMBASSADOR' has a larger Case and will be 21 Jewels.
This case is indeed different that the Ambassador/Mongomery designs... And the lugs are clearly shorter and heavier, to accomidate the band shown in the "Lone Eagle A" illustrations, and echod in several timepiece photos...
Looks like Jerin then also has the LE "A" as well, still labeled as an "Ambassador?"

So there is no chance that it's an Engineer? I am not saying it's not a LE A, but it wouod be nice to know for sure what the difference is and until such time that we can say with any degree of certainty I'm sitting on the fence as far as the model goes.
Plains did you have the original watch ad above that shows ths Lone Eagle A?

There are no scored rings on the end of each lug as in the advert and subject watch.
