A very sweet white dialed Air Warden. I've seen quite a few black dials in this model, but seems that the white dials are a bit more scarce.
Looks like it could be an original band as well
I wonder why you get penalized 1/2 star for having a varient dial. Here is one from my collection with the same color dial & and an ad from 1943.

Another possibility is that we have it confused with the 1941 Night Hawk, ya recon?

Bulova changed the name of this watch from Night Hawk to Air Warden in 1941as evident by the ads, purely for marketing strategy & varient dial colors. I am sure it wasn't done to confuse collectors in the next century.
Bingo!
Give that man a cupie doll.
Give him the other half of that star!
Dial variant: note how the 5 and 7 encroach into the sub Dial on the 'AIR WARDEN' and 'NIGHT HAWK' the unknowns do not making it a larger diameter Dial = larger Case.
Case specs, a shot of the Caseback and Movement should help the cause Wayne.
Fifth,
Do you have an Air Warrden or a Night Hawk? The case is 26mm in diameter non inclusive of the Crown while using my 6 inch steel rule. LOL Check the link for my black dialed example.
Interesting placement of the outside case back serial number....is it 3340467 ??
