As i love to buy special things, i present you what i think it is the oldest lady watch the data base never seen before!

Im sure this one is somewhere between 1914-1918.

i ll let you take time too look the seller's picture. 

....and we see in comments who got good eyes😂

my bad, the entry for the year was supposed to be 1916. fast typing.

so! anybody have a clue why i state 14-18?

cant be 17-18-19.... only 1916 can match ( at this time for what we know ).

I think the American Standard W. C. Co hallmarked cases pre-date 1918, from there I'm lost.

sure it pre-date! there is a 1915 in d.b.! the american maid with a maxim movement.

The problem is that there are no 'old techs' Martin.

It is only within the last decade that the connection between RUBAIYAT, HUDSON and MAXIM with Bulova Watch Company has been established.

Dating these pieces is still very new ground.
