i succed to grab one of these rare early bird !   According to the serial number i would say its a 1917 RUBAIYAT !

Oldest men's pocket watch in d.b. and its a 6th entry in the 1910 era for me ! 🥳 Color of the case is realy a light rose gold and each corner are like new without misplating.

Great points for cleaning a dial. I always only use cold water and soap, and always do a test wash on an outer edge if possible to see how the dial will behave.

thats the softest technic i got and it never fool me! but a peeling dial is a nightmare, just as the sky king i have here..... searching a dial now.
