i succed to grab one of these rare early bird !   According to the serial number i would say its a 1917 RUBAIYAT !

Oldest men's pocket watch in d.b. and its a 6th entry in the 1910 era for me ! 🥳 Color of the case is realy a light rose gold and each corner are like new without misplating.

These hands a dark red/violet and they are just amazing as the bleue saphyr on the crown wich i wish is original to the watch.....

if someone have the dark violet second hand like the one is one the watch i am a taker ! Bad luck happen...

Congratulation on an amazing buy. Certainly an early timepiece from Bulova and in amazing condition.

1917 Rubaiyat certainly gets my ID.

The earliest mens pocket watch that I have noted. I think the museum has one or two of these, but I don't know what their serial numbers are.

Still nice and early which I always love to see.

oh ! how i would love to see this legendary museum just to take a look at their oldest ones !!! i am truly in love with these very first ones. Cause thats where all have begun !

And they are very valuable for the real Bulova collectors !

Thank you! the watch come to me with a heavy tarnished case and some stain spot on the dial. i used silvo to bring back the case and gently washed the dial with Dawn dish soap and cold water. NEVER use hot water, the paint may fell off.
