Updated photos with ad 1 -4-13. The watch looks much better to the naked eye then it does with digital photography. Can't believe all the scratches and flaws that showed up in the photos. Photos of the mvt. and caseback are from Ebay seller Michaelh 54619.

There maybe one of rescue!  I rescued this guys grandfathers watch when he so empathetically sold it off on ebay... hey... what a great kid.  Got this rare Physician for a silly price... like I stole it out of his grandpas sockdrawer... (yes, he seriously said after his grandpa died he found this watch in his sock drawer and now its on ebay)

1970 Chrono w/ very nice complications...Cal 11????

Submitted by William Smith on

Well just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't out there.  This one is just too cool.  It's stated as a stainless steel case, sporting an 11 movement.  It was called "bull head automatic", and the first thing I thought was bull#*%!, but after looking a little closer, I can see how someone would describe it as a 1970 Bulova Bulls Head Chrono.  Case diameter listed as 42mm w/o crowns.

Very nice present from a dear friend

I will always think of this man as a gentle, helpful and above all very friendly man, and I received this and another watch from him today, as a gift. I thank him for this very generous addition to my collection, to be cherished always, even though I don't know the model!  Thanks, JP.

Back required but what model is this? Odd one.

Hi all

I am trying to help someone find a back to a 1951 watch (at least thats the movement code). The case looks like the Duo-wind / Thayer  but the dial and movement certainly are not. It has a 10bm movement and a dial I am unsure if it even comes from the same time period. The back has obviously been lost so nothing to go on from there. Any ideas, ever seen one with this movement before? I'm wondering if its parts of different models.. Photo below

Bulova Clock 1931(?)

Picked this "Bad Boy" up a while back from a old watchmakers/jewelrs estate who was reportedly a Bulova Employee back in the day. After leaving Bulova, he opened a Jewelry store in Collierville Tn.

Weighs a ton, case is metal, painted to look like wood. The four light blocks surrounding the outer perimeter are actually blocks of wood.
