Hello. I recently refound an old watch I was given (and lost!) when I was about 12... It has a new leather strap, and when I got it I remember we took it to a jewellers to get it going - no idea what work was done, so no idea how "original" it is - and I havent tried getting the back off...

On the back it has L4 and the serial number 7556162 with BULOVA - Stainless Steel Back - Anti Magnetic - Shock Resistant - Self Winding - Water Tite

I've seen other similar watches online (here and ebay), but none with these lugs... anyone know what it is?

Can you please help. I have two questions: Is this a Sea-king and did the bracelet come with the watch when it was new.

I have seen this case before, but it is not showing up in the database. Is this a Clipper?

I've got a nice 1965 Bulova automatic with 11ALAC movement. Should restore nicely, but I need one of those stainless steel threaded collar rings that holds the back in place. It should be 28.3 mm OD, and 26.7mm ID. The watch case itself is 30.9mm diameter, so it's a bit smaller in diameter than the average size watch of 33mm, but not quite a boy's size (or three-quarter size, some people refer to it). Hence, the collar ring is a little bit smaller than your average size. Pics of the watch are below. Please PM to brtime if you can help. Thanks!

I have a selfwinding day date that says 23 jewels on the movement but not on the dial. Is that a normal practice ?? It is a screw down water proof back and says it is 20 microns 10K gold. I am assuming this means it is electroplated. I will post it tomorrow but just wondered if any one was up beside me and could answer my question.

Late 20's Curtis!!  I've been eye'ing one of these for quite awhile.. one came along today and I through what I thought was a lowball snipe at it in the last few seconds and WHAMO!

From the pictures the case looks to be in excellent shape!  Some new cathedral type hands, a nice black strap, and she's a beaut!
