Welcome to myBulova. Is it possible to pop the back off and photograph the movement and maybe the inside of the case back? There is a small tab by the serial number that will help removal. With the watch laying face down, gentle pressure with a dull knife, like a regular butter knife should do it. We're looking for a date code to help us nail down the year, I think THIS is the model.

Pictures of the movement will be a help but it looks to be a 1946 Bulova Dewey with replaced hands.  We don't have a 1946 ad but we do have one for 1947.  This model later became the Cambridge in 1948.

Dewey looks to be a match; s/n would suggest 1946. Awaiting owner confirmation of movement date code.
