hi all

I have just got this one off ebay, I think it is a  1945 Dewey It could do with a new crystal and a service. the dial has a mark on the top r/h corner but in not to bad a condition. the inside of the case is marked Bulova. 10k Rolled Gold Bezel. Stainless Steel Back. New York. The oustside with the word Bulova also with the above serial number. the crown is resessed.

Surely the movement mark and case serial number denote this as a 1945 not a 1948 model ?

DEWEY, 1945

Both the movement and case are marked concurrent with a 1945 date.
