Agree this is the President "A".

These came with a two-tone blue strap originally.

I think also that the crown is not original, as it should be a smaller size with no engraving.

The display box was used in the late 50s for the Bulova 23 model line.

Thank you all for your assessment, comments and compliments.  This is a "Birth Year" watch for me, and even though I've only had it 6 months or so, it has great sentimental value already.
