Bulova ref. 31000 Chronograph from 1970, similar to Geoff Baker's. I purchased this from Ebay in January 2019 with incorrect subdial hands, crystal, bracelet, and crown. I had my watchmaker install the correct crystal, hands, and a straight-endlink version of the Kreisler Stelux bracelet shown on Geoff's watch. I'm on the lookout for the correct crown, but haven't found one yet.
Very high on my list of all time favorite watches. Finding the exact match bracelet is a tough challenge, finding the crown is going to be even harder I'm afraid. Wonderful watch, thanks for sharing it.

Thanks Geoff! Your watch inspired me to track down the parts to make it closer to original. I'm particularly glad I found the bracelet, since it's impressively solid and comfortable for a watch old enough to join the AARP.

I wouldn't experience much anxiety over the crown, watch looks great! The only ones who will EVER point out the crown "is a little too thick" are the Bully OCD collectors (like me) who research period ads. Nobody else will know unless you tell them. It's symmetrical with the pushers and looks great. :o)

The completionist in me wants the crown to be a matching original, but the extra width isn't a bad thing for a hand winding movement.

It may take some time to find an original crown.
