10k rolled gold plate , having some issues with the crown, she's a bit tempermental. Sticking from time to time but still the chronograph is working and resets to 12. Well enjoy my one button military chrono guys.
Edit: OP reports Bulova USA stamped on movement. Removed this entry from Movement Serial No. field.
Holy Moly. I'm guessing that is the original case? Fantastic find, excellent condition. Did you have anything done to it, or is this how you got it?
Outstanding.

Thanks Rob! This watch is all original or at least this is how I got it , I have a few of these watches ,which I used parts for to get this one going. I have two of these watches with military dials one which im having redialed. Not sure if I'm gonna use it though. Relumed the hands , I polished up the case a bit but it was in pretty clean condition. The one button chrono is a bit tricky , The strap I purchased a few months back along with the military box and is the perfect completion of this watch. I was thinking of putting a lower dome crystal. I would love to get the second one going but the parts are way to hard for me to find.

No kidding about finding parts. When I 1st started, I bought NOS parts all the time and I bought everything I could get my hands on. Now you hardly ever find them. I glad I'm part hoarder or I'd be out of business.

Lol so now I know who to call for parts! You got an extra seconds hand and crown+stem for this watch. Possibly a bridge ? Lol

Seems the 10AH had no interchangeable parts. I don't have anything marked 10AH but I did find reference in a TruFit kit of setting bridges as interchangeable with the 10AE and 10AN.
I'm acually working on a 1944 A-11 right now as we speak. Strange as it's marked A.F. U.S. Army and has a case I've only seen Elgins in. It's also a front loader, something I haven't seen is a Military till now.

I have a pair of lovely elgin Avigo watches, 3 piece case . Front loader as well. good luck with your build. I can't wait to see the final product!
SWEET! I want one.
ID wise do we call this a Chronograpgh' or 'Military Style'? I don't believe we have any named ads for it, do we? Also just confirming that this is a non issue military watch?

I'm guessing it's like the rest of the blackout watched made during that war time era . Mostlikely a novelty watch, but I do have two of them both came with lumonus hands and numbers. I also have the traditional one with the gilt hands and numbers. My guess it's not an actual hack watch of any type. It would be KOOL to find an advert!
If this was indeed a military issue watch, it would be stamped as such. It is a military styled one button chrono IMO. I'd say we go with the chrono ID as we do know that for certain. Or go with both " Military Styled 1 button Chronograph ". I prefer the later. It could be a watch that was not issued but an Officer could purchase as they did their uniforms.
