Watch Description

Accutron 2531 N0 Spaceview Made in Usa. 10kt gold filled bezel ring. Actually it’s broken. I bought for a very cheap price. But when I opened it, I found inside the original Bulova hg battery from 70th, that loose acid. The mechanism is stuck. Actually I’m using as ornament, inside a display case. What do you think? It has any sense trying to repair it?

Thank you

Case #2531 from what I understand is indeed an original factory release Spaceview.

The particular model is a 1972 Accutron Spaceview "I"

SO - the "H" and the "I" are one reference number part. 24019-Y for the "I" and 24018-Y for the H. It seems the difference is the mount?

Geoff raises a good point when models have a variation based on the mount (strap v bracelet).

When a watch is presented without a mount we typically go with the strap variation.
