Not sure if this may be a Bulova 23 or a Beau Brummel, or "other". 4 diamonds on dial at 3, 6, 9 and 12. Original Spiedel gold band. Date code on case and movement is "L7". Case marked 14Kt gold fill. Keeps perfect time UNTIL I wear it, and then it will occasionally get "stuck"...I am guessing that having my arm at certain angles must affect something in the movement. Having a local watch maker/repairer look it over. No info on the history. Purchased last weekend at vintage jewelry store in Savannah, GA. Glare in first pic where face reads "Self-Winding".

Agree with the disparities, certainly not the same lugs as the ZW or YW; looks like a good match to the BB ad

I was unclear on the lugs too Bob. I just don't see enough definition in the ad to know for certain. Not sure if I see a difference in the diamond mounts. As I stated above, I too think it's a Beau.
Thanks for all your input. Regardless of model I love this watch
I agree w/ Beau Brummel ID (unknown variant) as its a pretty nice match to the kinked 1957 ad.
Looks like a match for the Bulova Beau Brummel "F" (yellow gold)
