Here is another interesting one that I personally have never encountered. White gold filled with pierced "cat ear" lugs. White dial with white gold markers and diamonds set in 6 sided silver colored mounts at 12, 3, 6 and 9.
The only references I find to this watch are all dated 1958. Nothing in 1957 or 1959 Line Books or ads. One year model?
It is listed in the 1958 Line Book as Beau Brummell "X", however, I find it in a couple ads referred to as Bulova 23 "ZW" I find no difference between the two, and oddly, both are listed in the 1958 Price Guide, bearing the same ID number of 30141, with the yellow gold version referred to as BB "U' and also as 23 "YW" ID number 30142.
Based on the fact it is only pictured in the Line Book as a Beau Brummell, with no reference to Bulova 23, I personally would be inclined to call this a Beau, but am good with either ID. Either/or is a first for the Db.
1958 Beau Brummell "X" or
1958 Bulova 23 "ZW" ?
PS: watch came to me on a miserable worn out expansion band. I added the NOS leather matching the reference photos as best I could. Watch is keeping perfect time.

All above reference material is dated 1958.
Another nice one. I am going to go with the line book and say this is a 1958 Bulova Beau Brummell X. The fact there are two names makes me wonder if this was a discretionary name for jewelers to be used in certain geographic markets.
1958 Beau Brummell X
I notice that the pricelists show both the Beau Brummell and the Bulova 23, but I don't se the Bulova 23 in the linebooks.
Nice Beau Brummell 'X'
