Here is a nice local estate find, 1950 Bulova Academy Award "T" with a 21J 7AK date stamped "49", nice curtian dial with Black hands & numbers/markers. The bezel & caseback are 10K Gold filled and date stamped L0. The Speidel band looks like it was made for this watch with the matching ribs and Onyx inserts. Running strong and in very good to excellent condition.
What a find!!! I think that is absolutely GORGEOUS!
OT, I believe I have seen this band 500 times, but tonight I see it in a whole new light. Very cool pairing, great find!

Thanks Guys,
I also got the matching ladies watch at this sale and will post it up as soon as I can figure out which model it is.
To bad the band on this is not original, but it does look good on this watch, better than a leather strap!
The Band could be the original.
Very nice piece.
Man does that look fantastic Greg! Super sweet watch bro.
darn....same juncture as w/ the recent his excellency variant discussion. The "T" not matching the expansion band discription, but everything esle looks spot on.
This is one of those instances where the aftermarket band SHOULD be the one they put on this watch. Man does that look sweet! Matches perfectly.
