Easily one of my favorite Bulovas of all time and one that I'll probably never sell. The case shape is so unique and reminds me of some Boucherons from this era and the dial is stunning when it catches the sunlight. Had this serviced a bit ago and remarkably I got it back within 10 days of sending it out. Unfortunately, due to degradation the caseback was worn down and there was a hole in one of the corners so I had to fill it in with glue which seems to have done the job. I believe this is the 1950 Bulova Academy Award "W".
A collectors bucket list watch for sure, made onlt better by the original bamboo expansion bracelet. It's certainly on my wish list.
