Watch Description

A second one of these for the DB.  It is the white version of the Academy Award "F", like this one https://mybulova.com/watches/1949-academy-award-10691

The coloring of the white gold is very unique on this model.  It almost looks yellow until you have a yellow model next to it.  The curtain dial is lighter as well like the AA "C" dial.

A9 on both the movement and case.  This was a well worn watch by the looks of the service marks on the inside of the case and the scratches to the back of the watch.  Still cleaned up nicely and the movement is working.

I believe this is the "E", although not supported by an ad we know the "F" is yellow based on the color ad.  Also by the crystal and accumulated price list.  Hopefully a 1950 or 1951 price list will come along to further verify this and the others we do not have ads for.  A general AA is of course fine with me but I think we might have enough to data to ID this as "E".

"E" and "F" are listed with the same number CMT145-150 and same price in the same year. This subject example is identical to the ad verified "F" with the same dial. If one color is verified by an ad, and a second watch is referenced by Bulova as the same model number with a different variant letter, and  a watch is discovered with same price, case, face and date; it's the second color variant.  We can assume that the only other logical chronological choice following the "F" in a different color might be "FF",  however, the "FF" is verified as a completely different case with a white dial.

I agree, it's a ,

I would also agree that this is likely the 'E'.

I'm good with the AA E!  Pretty sweet!
