I picked this one up this week for a spare movement/dial. I hadn't planned on putting it in the DB because it looked pretty rough in the listing. Much to my surprise it cleaned up beautifully, much nicer than the first one I entered. There is little to no wear on the case and the dial is really pretty. I popped a new crystal on it and a NOS band and it is almost like new!
It has a 10K yellow gold filled case dated stamped L0. The movement is date stamped A9. Photographed on a postcard I also picked up recently.
That is a super cool watch. Love the lugs.

Thank you Tom. It is one of my favorite ladies Academy Award watches because I love the lugs.
Wow Kathy, that's a sweetheart! Don't you love it when you think you are buying parts and it turns out to be that nice? Well done w/the band and crystal, I'm impressed!

Thank you Bob! Yes I was pretty happy when I realized how nice it looked after cleaning the case. This is one of my favorite AA models so it is really great to have one in good shape.
Great story and a wonderful surprise. Well bought Kathy.
