This is a 1948 Bulova. It's 14k rose RGP bezel with a stainless steel back.
I'm guessing it's a 1948 American Clipper because of the recess in the dial for the sub-second hand, but I would like an expert to confirm it.
Other than that it looks like a Franklin to me.

Agreed, Franklin.
Pink gold is the "B".
Thanks guys. One more question. Did Bulova use the Index style hands on the Franklin or have mine been changed at some time? I want it to be as original as possible.
Looking at the ads, the Franklin shown in them are the Yellow gold A, and have what look like Dauphine hands, but usually pink or rose gold watches generally have black or blued hands, but yours are yellow.
Agreed with the Franklin ID. My call on the hands would that they should be silver like the hour markers, maybe index but Bulova was using Moderan, and Dauphine hands more towards the 50's so I'd have to agree with Bobbee on that note. If you can't find silver, then I'd go with the bluesteel hands.

I want to add one more photo of this watch. It doesn't really look as bad as it did in my original photos.
