I bought this watch at an estate sale. I've purchased lots of vintage Bulova's but this is the only Bulova I've ever seen with this face on it. The movement is Bulova 10an. I have serviced it.
In good condition for its age. Runs well but may need service for long-term accuracy and reliability.
More pictures would be a great help. What is the date symbol on the movement? Case markings?
Based on the s/n you provided, the case is from a 1928 Franklin. Movement may or may not be original to case. Dial appears to be a non-Bulova replacement.
Great looking watch but my initial feeling it is a combination of parts, and therefore considered as
non conforming.
I added a picture the is watch with the case open. Thanks for that info. Its a Bulova Case and, I believe, the correct movement which is 10an. This face sure does look authentic Bulova. Its not just a painted dial it has raised lettering. Any additional info is much appreciated!
the case is 1928
the dial is a replacement.

Thanks for the info. Do you believe the face is original Bulova but for a different model?

I would say that the dial is much later from around the 1950s.
It looks to be a 1928 Franklin with replaced dial.
Agree - 1928 Bulova Franklin, noting a dial swap
