There are a couple of these in the Unknown database Jeff, still not ID'd, but they will give you an idea as to the correct hands.

Geoff,

very similar to the '29 'TREASURER' but remains unknown.

1927 possibly had the 'Spade and Sword' style Hands.

Good luck.

Hi ~ this is Mrs. Daca :)

I thought this watch looked familar, so I did some digging.  We have one exactly like it, too!  Minus the hands & crystal, lol.  I'd like to know what it is as well.

Case serial number starts w/ 8.  Patent date 1927. Could be a 1928 unknown.

I just dug a case exactly like this one out of an old box of junk cases from my friend the son of the old watch maker. Same patent date of 27, case by American Standard. No movement or dial so I am lost as to what it might take for a movement but I suspect a 10AN.Mine has a yellowish greenish crystal on it. No marks on case back but GF on either end of the case.

Yep, John.  These take a 10AN and by the AD 15Jewel   Which is good as that is the easiest to come by.

I do have another 26 watch arriving this week and will probably get another pair of the long cathedral hands from you.

Jeff, I have Spade and Spear luminous hands to fit the 10AN should you like a pair. PM me if you do and we can discuss it.  Mrs. DACA you can tell the mister to pm me if he is interested in the hands as well.
