I agree, this is the Franklin model, 'B' variant; the rose/pink gold version. The date should be 1947; movement is dated 1946 and the case is 1947 (1st digit of s/n is 7). This model also came in yellow gold (A variant) and white gold (C variant)(w/ black dial). There are no ads that I can find that show the rose gold version, only mentions of it; but the other versions originally would have had a leather strap. All three versions were the same price, so most likely the rose also had a leather strap.

1947, I am a bit dissapointed, I was told it was a 30's while buying it on E-Bay.
