Looks Like a Franklin-This black dial is from a 1946 ad.

I think that this may be the American Clipper.

Is subject wacht case "rectangular or square. Hard for me to tell w/o dimensions, crystal info, or that important "straight on" picture.
It looks square to me. Notice the spacing on the hour markers and also in the mvt pic the back of the dial.
Here is a 1948 ad showing a Rose gold version of the watch. Unfortunately no name.

I'd say that's a much better match Jim. Shame there is no model name.
Well it is possible in 1945 they changed the Black Hawk to this model based on this 1945 ad. Case is a match and in conjunction with the ad above that says it is rose gold we might have a match. Then it might be a misprint.
