Movement dates to 1929 Very similar to a Bourbon of 1930
I don't have an ID for this one Doug, it's unknown to me. I've seen at least four (maybe five) Bulovas that share the design characteristics of this one, what I call a stepped lug, the geometric side case design and case finish that doesn't to be rhodium plating. I have three of them in my collection but only one has been identified, the Bourbon. Example two and three are here and here. It's odd that for all the advertising Bulova did in the late twenties and early thirties we have just one low res newspaper ad for one of these watches (Bourbon).

Thanks Geoff, i have seen a previous post back in 2013 of the same style watch. now i need to find a period strap any help with that would be appriecated.
