Ladies in case patend ~ date June 1924 ~ 2.2 cm x 1.5cm rectangle w/ jewels ~ 14K stamped inside case meaning what? Case w/ jewels might be silver electroplated ~ don't expect jewels in case to be real
Since patend date of 1924 production may have been over several years ~ possibility maybe model "Ardsley"
There seems to be a clear plastic film over back of movement which is somwhat unusual All serial no., dates, movement numbers, model no. are on scans ~ additional scans can be provided if required contact me

So the advert posted by Fifth, details 2 variants of that watch, one with just 6 sapphires ($60) and another with 6 sapphires and 4 diamonds ($85).
The other low resolution adverts showing the Natalie only indicates the 6 sapphire ($60) version.
So I'll revert my ID to a 1927 Unknown. 1927 as we are now dating cases stamped with Bulova and American Standard staring with an 8 to 1927. This particular dating system is not set in concrete, but is now part of how we date these particular cases.

Keep all posted on the jewlers assessment of jewels in watch ~ this might be the most signifcant revelation.
If there is diamonds in the case ~ the question(s) was this done by Bulova? Done by retailer?
Further research is erquired ~ I love research ~ it solves questions and also opens (sometimes) more questions

Well folks it's confirmed ~ the "Natalie" described by Panel Member "Alex" ~ has 4 diamonds & 6 sapphires
Upgrade? is it possible that this was done at jeweler where it was purchased? Bulova factory installed? Both possiblities.
The 14K in case is a white gold also confirmed by jeweler ~ I have a excellent microscope ( see scans on post) however no movement symbol can seen where it mostly likely be on movement ~ maybe cleaning will reviel the "asteric" or what ever (if anything) Is there anyone known to own a "Natelie" ? An example & examination of case (stamping) might indicate the possible addition of 4 diamonds

It looks like the case was made for an addition of 4 diamonds. The prongs are already there and it looks like all that would be required is drilling 4 small holes and setting the diamonds.
