Dear friends, this is the first time I write to this forum. Some weeks ago I bought this watch and I wonder what model it is. From the pictures in the pages of the catalogues shown in this site I would dare to say that it seems to be a Carrel but being green about watches I kindly ask all you experts to give me your idea of it. I like it very much and it runs well. It runs one minute late per day... Is it acceptable?
Actually I was looking for a Bulova watch I have been in love with for years but it seems to be hard to find: the Black hawk. The black one with all the twelve numerals and with the center of clear colour.
But, actually, in the internet I have never seen a watch similar to the one I am posting.
Would somebody help me? Thank you from Italia
I have searched the web but cannot find an exact match for this. If its real i would like to find the owner and return it.
Can anyone here at least identify the model and or authenticity?
Thank you for your time
I have about a dozen of these NOS watch dials. They measure 24.4mm long and 20.8mm wide. They would go with an "MT" style bezel and crystal. Probably from the 1940's by the look of the numbering. Does anyone have an idea which watch movement they should go with? Feet are at 10:30 and 4:15. Reaaly nice pieces...came in original packaging. One I determine what model (s) they might fit, I would offer them up first to MyBulova.Com Members before selling them on Ebay. First come, first served after ID.
Does anyone know when the 218 was first introduced in a hunter case pocket watch, with the date function? I have a beautiful example from 1976, but would love to know if this model was introduced sooner.
hello i have what looks to be an early 1920's ladies watch 15 jewel 6AF Movement looks to be in need of a mainspring. Has a 14kt gold plate case. Case is fancy engraved movement sits in a dust cover. Overall a nice ladies watch. I do not collect these and i can use the money getting others of mine serviced. Free!!!
