The movmeent is marked L5, the case L6
As far as I know, this was my grandfather's Bulova. This watch was in my father's posessions.
I intend to have this watch restored.
I found this watch in a dumpster in 2010. I confronted the owner of the debris and he told me it was given to him for meeting a sales quota in the 60's. He said he was aware he threw it away and that I could keep it. I wear it occassionally and it has become one of my favorite watches. It is the watch that led me to MyBulova.com.
I will have more information when it arrives from the aloha state.
1969 BULOVA ACCUTRON 14K GOLD FILLED WRIST WATCH
Original LEATHER Band
•Currently Working and in very good/excellent condition. 14 KT. GOLD FILLED case, Model M9 (1969), movement #218/2181 (see pics). I don't know if battery is original or has been replaced. Crystal is intact, can't see any scratches. Hands look very good, numerals are black with gold edges, back of case shows slight scratches and wear. I believe the leather strap/band is original to the watch.
Hey guys
Any idea about this 1957 8AC model?
Similar characteristics to the 'Craftsman' and a pretty similar dial but the case is different;
Definitely not that model...
Thanks for any help! Tal
