Does anyone know what is meant by the "GW" in the name of this watch?? I have one and love it, it is a great every day watch.

That would be great if Bulova followed some convention with the variant letters and their meaning...but they want to challange us, as it's consistently inconsistent. Could have been just the chronological order in which the variants were produced? And this could be a difference in days/weeks vs years.

Confirming model and variant from the 1964 LineBook BAWD0158
1964 Bulova Surf King "EW". (EW had bracelet while the GW was on a Strap according to the line book)
