I did not find just one Lone Eagle 3 newspaper ad Geoff, I found four. I found the advert in question too, so why am I so anti?

I have no quibble with the advert image, just the name. We have never seen an ad for the "Stars and Stripes" or the "Woody", because those are nicknames.
The catalogue shows us a matching watch with the name in English in a Swiss language cat, so it is not mentioning a feature, but the watch name, not a nickname!
Yes, we should call them by the name Bulova did.
The ad mistakes have been pointed out with this one, there are other "name" mistakes in the full advert from which the MK1 snippet is taken, and the description in the snippet in no way goes as far as other descriptions in the full ad, no mention of the depth rating or complications, or even it's world time bezel, which is strange as it is a major novel feature of the watch, unseen on any Bulova before.
You would think an advert would "big it up" to help sales, no?
