Ok, as a self proclaimed Conqueror / Lone Eagle expert, this one has me stumpted and the only thing that has me stumpted is that corner deisgn.

It's a very common design used by a number of different watch companies in the early and mid 20s. I have one at home just like it (I'll have to check the make and gold content).

Chances are what we have here is the very first run of the Bulova Conqueror of 1925.

We certainly don't see this corner design in any of the Bulova vintage ads (although as I just said it was a common design for other watch manufactures).

Is it possible that this is the first design Bulova used before switching to the design we see used in the ads and then the common design we tend to see on all Conqueror/Lone Eagles.

A very interesting find and a rare bird IMO.
