I'm not too sure about anything with any types of these watches so if I got one detail incorrect don't immediately scrutinize please! Any and all info is welcome

We need to see a straight on full photo of the front of the assembled watch in order to ID.

Welcome and thanks for sharing. This watch was a bit of a challenge, no ads on site and we don't have accurate factory info by year as far back as 1945.

I got lucky! We have a Bulova Linebook dated 1957 that has a mish-mosh of earlier models included.

Your watch is a 1945 Starlet and a first for the database!

Wow I'm surprised that the linebook had this, unless the model continued into the early 50s.

Even got the 7 jewel movement correct. 1944 movement with 1945 (F) case.

1945 Bulova Starlet is a match.

Can't argue with that - 1945 Bulova Starlet

We got lucky on this one.   1945 Bulova Starlet is a match.    Nice to see it in the metal and listed in the DB.   Thank you for posting.

I think in 1945 this model would be the Rona "C" or "D". Looks like it was the "C" with the corded band and "D" with a snake bracelet, both yellow rolled gold plate.  The "A" was a plain yellow gold plate case and the "B" was a plain rose gold plate case.  I am going to see if I can find a couple of ads for it.

This one is from 29 Nov 1946 - The Buffalo News.

Wow, well found, Kathy. I will agree. Some time after 1946, the name changed from Rona to Starlet. Based on date of subject watch, it's an ad match Rona.

Based on the difference between "C" and "D" being band material; I would venture to call this one based on presentation on metal band as 1945 Rona "D".

I agree also.  Name change.   1945 Bulova Rona "D"
