Case serial number:8597441. Snap-fit case back without hinge, with original engravings and no watchmaker marks. Equipped with Bulova 6AF (15 jewels) movement. Original domed crystal, factory-finished crown with inset blue cabochon stone and fully preserved factory details . The inner dusty cover. Bracelet : CLAP 1-10,12K Gold Filled , "PAT.APL.FOR" in excellent condition fully elastic and intact. Watch condition: mechanism partially functional-minor servicing needed
Box could be 1926/27. With this case stamping, a 1927 watch as per previous discussions seem correct.
1927 Bulova Rona is a good ID.

when I look at the Rona model, the shape of the case, the engraving and the shape of the glass perfectly match. Yes, it could be that watch. The only small difference is in the face of the numbers, but as I see the other Rona models, none of them are the same. It means that it will soon be 100 years old.

Thats the picture from the box of watch.I'm not sure about the material, it's a velvety-dark blue box, and I'm not sure what type of metal it's made of.

The movement has both a triangle and arrow. We recently determined that the arrow, as well as equating to 1937, also for a very short period equated to 1927. The inside back case stamping also indicates a cross-over period from which we have had many discussions and came to the conclusion that this type of stamping equates to a 1927 watch. So, with the movement and case both equating to 1927, we would ID accordingly.
We have 10 examples of the Rona in the database at the moment, dating from 1927 to 1930.
1927 Bulova Rona is my ID recommendation.

ok, it looks like I have a very nice example of Bulova Rona from 1927, including the bracelet in excellent condition + protective plastic for the mechanism + box. which makes me very happy because I haven't seen many of them with bracelets.The rosary is some kind of blue stone if I'm not mistaken. Which matches the Rona models.
