This M2 has been puzzling me for a while. It has the case of a Surf King CW but with a different dial. The case is stainless steel and the dial is champagne coloured with 5 minute markers. You have another copy in the database but dated 1967 overstamped on a 1962 M2 case. A google photo search revealed 2 more copies out there with the same dial so I'm fairly certain that it's not a franken. It's working well and keeping good time but unfortunately I cannot take off the back to view the movement.
I looked through line books and ads and did not find a match. I agree it look most like a Surf King but no dial match.
Unknown for now.
The Surf King and SVP also used this case style. Unknown for me.

I think there is also a Sea King variant that uses this style case.
Out of all three, the Surf King matches the best with the movement + hands combo.
I agree though, whilst the Surf King model might be the correct ID, as we have no supporting evidence it's best to tag as unknown for now.
