This looks to be a 1940 Bulova Ranger. The dial appears to have been cleaned and possibly repainted.

Muito obrigado JimDon. Realmente este "Ranger" foi restaurado e o mostrador foi repintado.
I can't find a "Ranger" ad showing a partial "6" on the dial. The "Banker" and the "Chief" dials have this but the cases on them are not engraved. The "Alpha" style hands are not correct for the "Ranger" either. Could this watch have a dial and hands or possibly a movement swap?

Muito obrigado "1955mercúrio" pelo seu comentário. Este Bulova está como foi encontrado. Quase no lixo. Foi restaurado. Corre bem. O mostrador, provavelmente não está a 100%.

I applaud your initiative to save this Bulova jose serra. Even though it may not be 100% original it will still perform the function it was intended to do, show the time. I was searching for a model that had the case and dial combination your watch has and hadn't found one. I've got several that aren't 100% original that I use for everyday wear. I call them resto-mods.

Agradeço bastante o seu comentário, "1955mercúrio". Dá muito prazer salvar estes pedaços de história da relojoaria. Muito Obrigado.
I found another Bulova exactly like this one with the same dial configuration, (the partial 6 at the bottom). So now I'm inclined to think it's all original. But which model name?
